RCI Terms and Conditions of fulfilment of Cruise Prize
1. The prize consists of a 2-night cruise for two adults aged over 18 and sharing a Balcony stateroom onboard the Royal Caribbean International (“RCI”) ship ‘Anthem of the Seas’ departing from Southampton on the 10th May 2024 to Le Havre, France and returning on 12th May 2024
2. Transfers to/from the departure city and port are not included and are at the Winner’s own expense.
3. Prize includes one Balcony stateroom for two people (chosen at RCI’s’ sole discretion) accommodation, meals (excluding specialty dining), selected onboard entertainment excluding taxes, fees, and gratuities.
4. Prize excludes personal expenses or any additional onboard facilities e.g. Spa or Hairdresser.
5. The free-to-enter Prize Draw is a once-off event promotion managed and promoted by Sunrise Radio which is the trading name of [Sunrise Radio London Limited, Unit 2, 694-712 London Road, Hounslow TW3 1PG (“the Promoter”) who will draw the Winner randomly from eligible entrants. The Winner must contact RCI within [14] days of notification of the draw to claim and arrange their prize fulfilment.
7. Following the draw, the Winner will receive an invitation from RCI to their given email address. They must respond to RCI within 14 days after receiving their invite. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize by the Promoter. Once the booking is confirmed, no changes may be made.
8. Winner must ensure that they and any person travelling with them are available to travel and hold valid passports with at least six months before expiry, any necessary visas or health documents, and travel insurance for the cruise on the travel dates specified and shall provide evidence of above if requested to do so by RCI.
9. Additional details of how to arrange the cruise booking will be provided to the Winner after they claim their prize. RCI’ standard booking terms and conditions will apply, save where varied by these terms, in which case these terms shall prevail. 10. The prize is non-transferrable and may only be redeemed by the individual Winner and one eligible guest.
11. If a Winner does not contact RCI within 14 days of being notified by RCI, then the Winner’s prize may be forfeited by the Promoter, who may randomly select another Winner.
12. Employees or officers of Promoter and RCL Cruises Limited, or any business within a group of companies of which Promoter or RCL Cruises Limited is a member, and their affiliates or anyone else professionally associated with this competition, or their families are expressly excluded from entering the Prize Draw.
13. It is a condition of entry that these terms and conditions are accepted, and that the Winner agrees that their personal details will be shared with RCI for the purpose of fulfilling the prize. Promoter will ensure that Winner has been furnished with and has accepted these terms and conditions and complies with the RCI standard Booking Conditions before entering the draw or embarking on the prize cruise.
14. RCI reserves the right to substitute a prize (to be decided at RCI’s sole discretion) of at least equal value in the event of cruise unavailability for reasons outside their control.
15. The Winners will be asked to consent for their personal details to be announced contemporaneously on Promoter’s and RCI’ UK Facebook and/or Twitter pages in the format “[Full Name] of [Town]”. The Winners will also be asked to consent that their details in this format may also be featured in RCI’ marketing material, including the RCI UK Blog, Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram for a period of 6 months following the announcement of the Winner(s) of the competition.
16. The prizes cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash or travel vouchers.
17. By entering this Prize Draw, each participant is providing personal information to Promoter and RCI who both undertake to process participant’s personal details in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2018. Promoter and RCI undertake to use participant’s personal details for this purpose only, and for the purpose of administering and/or promoting this competition as outlined in these terms and conditions, and in compliance with RCI’s Privacy Policy (available at https://www.royalcaribbean.com/gbr/en/resources/privacy-policy )
18. RCI reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify this prize, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, RCI or Promoter’s errors of any kind, a change in applicable law or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of this competition, as determined by RCI in its sole discretion
19. The Winner’s title, surname and county can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to RCI Marketing Team at the address below within 30 days of the competition closing. Prize Winners agree to their details being shared for this purpose.
20. Insofar as is permitted by law, RCI, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the gross negligence of RCI or the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Winner’s statutory rights are not affected.
21. This competition shall be subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall prevail.
22. The prize is provided to Promoter by RCL Cruises Ltd trading as RCI (company number 07366612), a UK company with registered office address at Building 7, The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 0XW(referred to above as “RCI ”).
