Competition Specific TERMS & CONDITIONS – to be read alongside Sunrise Radio’s General Terms and Conditions
1. Entry for the competition starts Monday 7th – Saturday 26th August 2023
2. In order to enter, tune into Sunrise Radio from 07:00-22:00 Monday to Sunday, listen for the cue to call then ring on the telephone number supplied. If your line is chosen, the Sunrise Radio presenter will ask you a simple general knowledge multiple-choice question. If you choose the correct answer, go into the free draw for a seven-night holiday in Amazing Thailand for two adults, if not onto the next line. .
3. The Presenters decision is final.
4. One entry per household.
5. The draw for the winner of the holiday in Amazing Thailand for two adults will take place on Monday 28 August during Drive on Sunrise.
6. The Price
a) Etihad Airways economy class return air tickets from London Heathrow Airport to Phuket International Airport via Abu Dhabi including all taxes for two adults plus return transfers to the resort, and return land and resort boat transfer pick up from SAii Laguna Phuket to SAii Phi Phi Island Village as per boat schedule & resort boat and land transfer pick up from SAii Phi Phi Island Village to Phuket Hotel or Phuket airport as per boat schedule.
b) Four nights for two people in SAii Laguna Phuket in a Lagoon View room, inclusive of Breakfast. Three nights for two people in SAii Phi Phi Island Village in a Deluxe Garden Bungalow, inclusive of Breakfast.
c) The Prize can be used from and including 1st September 2023 and travel must be completed by the 30th June 2024. Please note there are two excluded periods for this prize 24th December 2023-8th January 2024 & 25th March-6th April 2024. All dates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
d) The Prize must be booked as early as possible and no later than 31 December 2023. All dates are subject to availability at the time of booking. Once the booking is confirmed it cannot be changed.
7. Other than accommodation, travel, etc outlined in Point 5. a), b), c) & d) no additional benefits or subsistence is included with this prize. Winners & their guests must cover all costs with regard to any additional subsistence including but not restricted to meals/drinks/snacks consumed during the flights & during their stay in Thailand.
8. The Prize winner must arrange their own travel from their home to Heathrow and on the return journey from Heathrow to their home. The winner & guest must arrange their own travel insurance prior to travel to cover any unforeseen circumstances, cancelation, lost or damaged property, and emergency medical treatment.
9. The winner & guest must hold a valid passport and visa (if required) to travel to Thailand and ensure they have adequate Travel Insurance (must be pre-arranged at the winner’s cost)
10. In the event international flights are cancelled, Southall Travel will try to help book alternative flights, but will not be liable for any additional cost that you may have to incur to book a hotel or any other additional arrangements.
11. Force Majeure: We will not be liable if your holiday is affected by “Force Majeure”. Force Majeure means any event beyond our or our supplier’s control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples include warfare and acts of terrorism (and threat thereof), civil strife, significant risks to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination, or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, or weather conditions that make it impossible to travel safely to the travel destination or remain at the travel destination, the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, labour strikes, lock closure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster, unavoidable technical problems with transport and all similar events outside our or the supplier(s) concerned control.
12. Prize for this competition cannot be transferred to another person, it cannot be changed, and there is no cash, credit, or alternative prize offered.
13. Sunrise Radio London Limited and Southall Travel assumes no responsibility for any illness, injury, or accident that the winners may suffer for whatever reason while traveling to or from the airports or any other related journey or incident.
14. Promotional materials form part of these terms and conditions. This promotion is governed by English law and is subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
15. The name of the winner may be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Sales Department, Sunrise Radio London Ltd, Unit 2, 694-712 London Road, Hounslow, Middx. TW3 1PG.
